smart design and extremely practical, August 29, 2008 By anon (United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: ESPRIT Sun Speed Stroller - Apple Green (Baby Product) This stroller is so fantastic that I have leant it to friends who wanted to travel with it.
It has two really important attractions: 1. The backrest can fold down flat, so the baby can sleep- because of its unfolding leg-rest even my large 2-year old can sleep comfortably in it. 2. It is lightweight and easy to fold- we have had it in and out of taxis, and airplanes and cars and buses all over the world. These are the two vital issues that I rely on.
Additionally- it has a useful big pocket on the hood which holds a spare diaper, a snack box AND a bottle. And a large basket below that can hold a blanket, a toy and my handbag. The handles can carry shopping bags without waking the child. The hood is large and makes a lot of shade. The wheels are not flimsy feeling and dont make that tin-y rattle noise of cheap strollers. The colors and the design is pretty elegant, and the price is good. And it has lasted well with plenty of use for more than a year.

Compare to any other light weight stroller, it shows a lot of advanced designs.
The stroller itself is very heavy, may over 15 lbs. My little one is about 30 lbs, I feel its very heavy when I push him arround on the street, seems the wheels are not strong enough to hold a 30lb boy, and makes sqeak noice. My friend's baby who is 5 month old, had a very smooth ride, so we gave ours to her baby. I would recommend this stroller to a young child(less than 2 1/2 years old), or not weight over 30lbs.

It's lighter than my Chicco Travel system and it takes less space, so those trips to the store are not hassle anymore. It folds easily once you figure it out. I have purchased the additional cup and snack holder also from Amazon as I knew that the pocket on the back of the cover won't be big enough, but the basket is bigger than most. The harness looks flimsy however it still keeps my lively 11 month old in place pretty well. The seat is comfortable and my baby loves the stroller. Another feature that I also like is that it can recline so my baby can sleep.
I also like the fact that I haven't seen this stroller anywhere else (although I'm familiar with the brand) which is nice for a change. Last, but definitely not the least is the great price. It's a shame that the free shipping didn't apply to this item but I'm still... Read more
